Kent & Cathy Larson

Kent was born and grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and Cathy in  Pasadena, CA. We both received Jesus as children and have gratefully continued to grow in the depths of His love and presence throughout our lives.

We met in Pasadena while Kent was at Fuller Seminary.
(MDiv. ’76). We initially worked together in a youth discipleship ministry at Lake Ave Congregational Church. We were married October 7, 1978. Our joy and secure attachment with each other has grown stronger over the years. We have five amazing adult children (one in heaven & four on earth) and currently one “daughter in love.”

We have been involved in ministry together for over 45 years. Our experience includes youth ministry, inner-city ministry, overseas missions, children’s ministry, inner healing, pastoral counseling, worship, intercession, prophetic/healing art, and worship dance.

We retired January 1st, 2024 from 24 years as associate pastors at Vineyard Church Laguna Niguel, 

California since 2000. Our primary oversight at Vineyard was prayer and pastoral care. During this time, we established HOPE (House of Prayer for Everyone), Vineyard Healing Rooms, Mercy Arts Community, and Mercy Transformation Center. (Life Model relational skill training and Immanuel heart healing prayer.)

We currently minister under our non-profit ministry, Radius Network radiusnetwork.org as well as Immanuel Prayer Ministry immanuelprayerministry.com. We call ourselves “Radius” because we are passionate to educe, empower and mentor spiritual fathers and mothers in the “radius or sphere” of their grace and influence (Rom 12:3).

Our passion is to form and multiply vibrant, spiritual families as we create relational networks between those families at regional and tribal levels. 

Our mission is to provide resources to bring people into full transformation in Christ through a lifestyle of face-to-face encounter with the living presence of Jesus and through joyful, relational and intergenerational community.

Much of what we currently do is based on our training and mentoring in the Vineyard, the international prayer movement, contemplative prayer, spiritual formation, Life Model Works (https://lifemodelworks.org/), The Immanuel Approach (https://www.immanuelapproach.com/) and various organic micro-church movements, specifically Luke10 lk10.com.
